THE ARCHWAY is written by me! Hi! I'm Archie! I like pop music and I like talking about pop music! There's going to be a lot of that here. I also will probably talk about other stuff. Who knows!

Of course, this is not a complete list of musicians you'll hear about. I'm also a big fan of artists from and associated with the PC Music label (rest in peace). Expect reviews, recommendations, and rants! Maybe even about non-music related topics!

"So what's your deal?"

I'm Archie! My pronouns are she/her. You may know me as the XCX Archivist. This makes sense! I am somewhat well known (to people in a very specific corner of the internet) for my work as a Charli XCX stan, as much as I hate calling myself that. I'm an admin on the Charli XCX Wiki, and have a somewhat encyclopedic knowledge of her career and her music, released or otherwise.

For a while, I've wanted an outlet to just talk about the things I like. However, sometimes I don't have friends available to talk at. Screaming into the void on social media can be fun, but I don't like arguing with weirdly defensive pop stans. (Slut Pop: Miami by Kim Petras is an AWFUL album and I will stand by that FOREVER! Except "Head Head Honcho". I liked that song.)

Then I remembered that Neocities exists! I did some research into website building and, while on a distraction tangent, accidentally discovered Zonelets! (Shoutout to Marina for this GORGEOUS y2k theme that I slightly modified.) And now you're here! Reading my about page! Thank you :)
